Pauline Kontos

Pauline brings 20+ years of Trade Finance industry experience and serves as Global Head of Working Capital Advisory within Citi’s Trade and Working Capital Solutions, Services, business. She leads Citi’s global advisory practice responsible for supporting multinational clients in developing and executing comprehensive working capital optimization strategies.

In this role, Pauline advises corporate clients on setting working capital objectives, designing strategic roadmaps, and applying global best practices to help them achieve measurable outcomes. She brings deep expertise across the full spectrum of Trade Finance instruments and structured finance solutions, enabling her to guide clients on innovative applications of trade‑based structures to support sales growth, fund strategic initiatives, mitigate risks, strengthen liquidity, and improve margins.

Over her career, Pauline has worked with some of the world’s largest and most complex multinational organizations, helping them define, operationalize, and scale their working capital strategies. She has successfully supported clients in designing and executing sophisticated solutions across receivables, payables, inventory, supply chain financing, and credit‑enhancement frameworks—delivering meaningful financial and operational impact globally.
